BUSINESS INFORMATION -Australia plans to follow in the footsteps of China to block sites that violates the rules and endangering state security. That step, will still run even though it would trigger a controversy because it is considered their rightful freedom.
Australian Communications Minister, Stephen Conroy said the new rules contained a number of rules about blocking sites that are in dangerous categories, such as smelling the content of violence, crime, rape and content using drugs.
As reported by AFP, Tuesday (15/12/2009), list of blocked sites will be maintained by a special agency that holds the input and complaints from the public. "No bullets that really works for cyber security affairs, but this step necessary," said Conroy.
